I’ve been seeing this ad quite a bit recently. It’s an advert for a website designed and built for $199.
I’ve checked out their website- and there’s only one problem: The websites all look the same and are terrible!
If you find yourself in the situation where you can only afford $199 for a website, then sell some office furniture or something and get a custom designed website. A good website is crucial for any business!
A website that is designed well will build someone’s trust in your business. The opposite is also true – a badly designed website will cause many potential customers to distrust you and you’ll lose business. The team from web credibility research from Stanford did some research on this – 75% of users admit to making judgments about a company’s credibility based on their website’s design.
So take your business seriously, invest in the thing that will grow people’s trust in your business and stop paying for shonky websites!
