Web design

A good website is like a nice piece of fruit; it’s important that it not only looks good, but doesn’t make you throw up… Or something. Actually, a good website is like a good metaphor- it just works.

An engaging design, with a flexible layout

An engaging design, with a flexible layout

Christ Church St. Ives is one of Sydney’s largest Anglican churches, with over 7 church services held each weekend. They were going through the process of re-branding each service to appeal to it’s target demographic, and this included creating individually designed websites for each service.

645 is a church service that is aimed at late teenagers/early 20′s, and so it was important that it was “edgy” and “engaging” to help appeal to the target audience and give the website a sense of individualism.

The 645 design is to be used as a rough template to create the other service websites in the future, so it was important that the layout was flexible.

I designed and help build this website when I was part of the team at Solutions Outsourced.
